Ukraine Needs Long-Range Missiles Against North Korean Troops: Zelensky

In response to a North Korean troop deployment in Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated Friday that Ukraine needed authorisation from its allies to launch long-range missiles into the country.

“We observe every location—all of their camps—where Russia is gathering these North Korean soldiers on its soil. In his evening speech, Zelensky stated, “If we could strike long enough, we could strike preventively.”

He said that rather than offering “the long-range capability that is so necessary,” Kyiv’s allies were “just waiting for the North Korean military to start striking at Ukrainians.”
