Donald Trump’s Victory Speech Message Regarding “Wars”

When Donald Trump shook hands with Kim Jong Un at a historic summit in Singapore during his final term from 2016 to 2020, he became the first sitting US president to meet a North Korean leader.

It is anticipated that Donald Trump will return to the White House. He stated in his victory speech that trying to put an end to wars worldwide would probably be one of his main policy choices. Geopolitical experts have pointed to Israel and Ukraine as Trump 2.0’s likely targets, though he did not specify where.

In his victory speech, the Republican nominee for US president declared, “I am not going to start wars; I am going to stop wars.”

“For four years, there were no conflicts. On the other hand, we defeated ISIS,” Mr. Trump stated.

When Mr. Trump shook hands with Kim Jong Un at a historic summit in Singapore during his most recent term, which lasted from 2016 to 2020, he became the first sitting US president to meet a North Korean leader.

Ukrainians anxiously watched the news as the US election results were announced today, with some worried that a win for Mr. Trump would prevent Washington from providing crucial assistance to the country in its conflict with Russian forces.

The outnumbered and outgunned Ukrainian army is on the backfoot against Russia’s advancing troops. With Seoul and Washington claiming that thousands of North Korean troops have been sent to Russia, Moscow’s alliance with North Korea also seems stronger than before.

On the other hand, Mr. Trump’s return to the White House without a promise of support for Kyiv may further depress Ukraine’s war-weary supporters.

“A Trump victory would create grave risks. Oleg Shamshur, a former Ukrainian ambassador to the US, told news agency AFP that the situation would be concerning.

With Kyiv receiving billions of dollars in military and financial assistance, Washington has pushed NATO to support Ukraine, allowing it to continue the fight against a far more powerful Russia. However, during the past few months, that support has diminished in both the US and Europe.

Ukraine’s concerns have only grown as a result of Mr. Trump’s repeated criticism of US assistance to Ukraine and his assertions that the conflict would end in 24 hours.
