Stablecoins, Asset Tokenisation, and AI Become Important Topics of Discussion at Binance Blockchain Week

“Momentum” is the theme for this year’s annual event of Inance.

Binance stepped into the final leg of its annual community event, Binance Blockchain Week, on Wednesday. This year’s event theme is “Momentum,” which the cryptocurrency exchange hopes to use to recognise the Web3 industry’s steady expansion over the past 12 months in spite of global legal, regulatory, and technological obstacles. The exchange said that more than 4,000 people attended the event at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, where Binance senior leadership, including CEO Richard Teng and Co-Founder Ye Hi, interacted with attendees.

HE On Wednesday, Khalfan Belhoul, the CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, joined Teng on stage to discuss a variety of subjects, such as stablecoins, asset tokenisation, regulatory developments in the cryptocurrency space, and the possible cross-sector applications of Web3 and blockchain technologies.

The day will include a number of panel discussions covering subjects such as the peculiarities of the market, the dynamics of cryptocurrency investments, and the growing interest of venture capital firms in investigating early-stage crypto startups and projects.

The launch of “Binance Wealth,” a new service that addresses the unique requirements of high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), has been announced by Binance in conjunction with this event. Jeff Li has also been named the exchange’s new vice president of product. In the upcoming months, Li will be in charge of managing the growth of Binance’s product line. Li was TikTok’s global head of finance before joining Binance.

In order to interact with Web3 fans who have flown to Dubai from all over the world, Web3 players such as Pepe Coin, Iota, Solana, and The Tonne Foundation have set up booths at the Coca-Cola Arena.

Stakeholders in the cryptocurrency sector will delve deeper into the opportunities and challenges the industry is currently facing over the course of the next two days. The event’s panels are also anticipated to discuss topics such as the anticipated shift from Web2 to Web3 technologies, the incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) into Web3, and the prospects for institutional investors in cryptocurrency in spite of the volatile nature of virtual digital assets (VDAs).

The panellists will also discuss the need for upgrades to the current Web3 infrastructure, the emergence of blockchain trends in recent years, and the growing significance of Web3 compliance requirements.

The afternoon sessions explored the opportunities and difficulties in the cryptocurrency industry. The potential of generative AI in Web3, the state of the institutional market, and Web2 companies’ hesitancy to embrace Web3 technologies were among the subjects covered.

During their planned meetings, Polygon Labs’ Sandeep Nailwal, Sandbox co-founder Sébastien Borget, and Elliptic founder Tom Robinson will talk about how to enhance the Web3 protocols’ end user experience.

Binance’s annual blockchain conference was held in Istanbul, Turkey, last year.
