On Day 2 of the current second Test match against New Zealand in Pune, former India coach Ravi Shastri criticised captain Rohit Sharma’s strategies. The Kiwis took a 103-run lead after India was bowled out for 156 in the first innings. They solidified their position by reaching 85/2 at tea in the second innings. As India was already pursuing New Zealand in the game after giving up a significant lead, Shastri, who was on commentary duty, thought Rohit did not make aggressive field placements.
