Mumbai Police Makes 16th Arrest In Baba Siddique Murder Case

This is the 16th arrest in the case, the official said.

The Mumbai police on Wednesday arrested one more person in connection with the murder of NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, an official said.

The official stated without further explanation that the accused had been taken into custody by the crime branch.

According to the official, this is the 16th arrest in the case.

On October 12, three gunmen shot and killed Baba Siddique, 66, in the Bandra neighbourhood of Mumbai, close to the office of his son Zeeshan Siddique, an MLA.

Baba Siddique’s murder is allegedly the work of Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
