The company’s newest midrange smartphones, the Itel S25 and Itel S25 Ultra, were introduced in the Philippines on Friday. Samsung is also anticipated to introduce the flagship Galaxy S25 series in early 2025. Itel’s latest phones feature 6.78-inch AMOLED screens with an under-display fingerprint scanner and Unison processors. Additionally, they have a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera. Additionally, an Android 15 update is anticipated for both phones.
Pricing and Availability of the Itel S25 and Itel S25 Ultra
Itel S25 pricing reportedly starts at PHP 5,799 (roughly Rs. 8,400) for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the Itel S25 Ultra begins at PHP 10,999 (roughly Rs. 15,900). The Itel S25 is available for pre-order on Shopee for customers in the Philippines, and the Itel S25 Ultra will be available for pre-order on Sunday.
The Itel S25 Ultra will come in Bromo Black, Komodo Ocean, and Meteor Titanium colour options, while the standard model will be offered in Bromo Black, Mambo Mint, and Sahara Gleam.
Specifications for the Itel S25 and Itel S25 Ultra
Gorilla Glass 7i protects the Ultra model’s curved AMOLED screen, which is the same size and refresh rate as the standard model. Android 14 powers the dual SIM phones known as the Itel S25 and Itel S25 Ultra. The Ultra model has a curved AMOLED screen that is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and is the same size and refresh rate as the standard model. A 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz is featured in the standard model.
The Itel S25’s chipset has not yet been disclosed by the company, but the S25 Ultra has a Unisoc T620 chipset, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
A 50-megapixel primary camera on the back panel of the Itel S25 and S25 Ultra is paired with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and selfies.
The Itel S25 and S25 Ultra have a USB Type-C port in addition to 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC connectivity options. Additionally, the Ultra model is advertised as having an infrared transmitter for controlling a variety of appliances.
Although the 5,000mAh battery in both phones is mentioned, fast charging is not supported.
