Jimmy Fallon, an actor and television host, is getting ready to release Holiday Seasoning, his third studio album. The album features a stellar list of celebrity guests, including Justin Timberlake, Cara Delevingne, Dolly Parton, Jonas Brothers, and Meghan Trainor. Jimmy posted a sneak peek of his song with Justin Timberlake on Instagram prior to its release. The song, “You will Be There,” is a tribute to their bromance. Justin is heard stating, “We went to Electric Lady [to record it],” in the video. We had no business using such a great, well-known studio to record this song. “What are you talking about?” Jimmy asked. This song is of excellent quality. Electric Lady Studios, he continued, was “unbelievable” and the “best place to record a record.” “Legends have been there, and then they let me in and I go, ‘Oh my god,'” Jimmy explained. “I can not believe I am in this thing, Justin,” I say.
At this point, Justin Timberlake interjected and said, “Also, the session probably should have only taken like two to three hours. We were there for like eight hours. Eight, nine hours.” Jimmy Fallon confirmed that they only took so long because they were “crying laughing.”. He went on to describe their song You’ll Be There as “a silly song,” which is “about kind of a bromance.” Justin added, “I mean, it’s—iit’s us,” evoking laughter from the audience. Jimmy said, “It’s us saying, like, ‘Hey, you’ll be there. You’ll be there for me this Christmas,” before asking the audience if they wanted to hear a bit of it. Jimmy then pressed play on the song. The music started with a few notes of a ukulele, prompting Justin to say, “Nothing says Christmas like a ukulele.”
“Nothing says Christmas like a ukulele…and a holiday’ song with my long-time friend Justin Timberlake,” Jimmy Fallon captioned the photo. A preview of “You will Be There,” which will be released on November 1st along with my new album “Holiday Seasoning,” is provided here.
Republic Records will release Holiday Seasoning on November 1.
