Israeli Foreign Minister Extends Diwali Greetings To Indians

“My friend @DrSJaishankar, I wish you and the people of India a #HappyDiwali2024! The principles of democracy, freedom, and hope for a better future are shared by Israel and India,” Katz wrote in a post on the social media site X.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz wished Indians a happy Diwali, emphasising that his nation shares India’s values of freedom, democracy, and hope for a better future.

“My friend @DrSJaishankar, I wish you and the people of India a #HappyDiwali2024! “Democracy, freedom, and a vision for a better future are values that Israel and India share,” Israel Katz wrote in a post on the social media site X.

The Israeli foreign minister went on to say, “May this Festival of Light bring us all joy, prosperity, and peace.” He added, “Deepawali ki haardik shubhkamnayen,” in Hindi.

Academic institutions across Israel seem to be decked up for Diwali celebrations, with Indian researchers forming the bulk of the overseas student community in the country.The festival of lights is also being celebrated by the 18–20,000 Indians who work in Israel.
