Disha Patani On Korean Content: “I Feel A Lot Of It Is Taken From Bollywood”

Disha Patani and Akshay Kumar will next be seen together in Welcome To The Jungle.

Many of us enjoy binge-watching Korean dramas and Japanese anime while seated in front of the TV. This is also true of actress Disha Patani, who debuted in Tamil with Kanguva. Disha enjoys watching anime, as anyone who follows her on Instagram can tell, and she has songs by Korean pop band EXO’s Kai on her workout playlist. In a recent interview, Disha discussed her passion for anime and her belief that Bollywood has an influence on Korean productions.

As a child, I grew up watching anime, Dragon Ball Z, and other shows. I find anime to be fascinating. The plot they have, the way they emote, the types of stories they have, whatever genre you like, I am not sure if you can depict that in a movie. “Most of the anime has an unbelievable emotional connection,” Disha Patani told PTI.

“Korea is great when it comes to filmmaking, series, and romance,” Disha Patani continued when discussing Korean projects. When you watch it, I think a lot of it is lifted from Bollywood. I adore everything about them, including their music, fashion, and culture.

Disha Patani mentioned in the same conversation that she feels she does “less work” than she believes she should. She went on. “I must truly enjoy what I am doing or be extremely content in order to do it. It is intuitive, and I can not do it if I do not get that feeling. I await that sensation. I am trying, but it takes a long time. Going forward, I have a lot of work ahead of me. Kanguva was a lovely project to work on.

Disha posted a number of pictures of herself having a blast on Instagram in her most recent post. Take a look:
