Apple’s Business Caller ID feature offers features similar to those of caller ID apps like Truecaller.
New features have been added to Apple Business Connect, the company’s service that lets people and businesses add or update their information across the company’s apps. This enables businesses to connect with customers even if they do not have a physical location. Businesses will be able to display their information across the Apple Wallet, Mail, and Maps apps thanks to the most recent features that Apple has released. In an effort to reduce spam calls, Apple will also display information about verified businesses when they call consumers.

According to details shared by the company, Apple Business Connect has been updated with the ability to show information about a business on the Mail and Phone apps. Customers will see the brand name and logo in those apps when they receive a call or email from a verified business.
Apple says that businesses will need to register for the Branded Mail feature, and it has already begun accepting applications via the Business Connect platform. Apple is anticipated to start displaying its logo to consumers in the upcoming months after the company has been validated.
Businesses will be able to see the details of an employee calling a customer thanks to a new feature the company has announced: Business Caller ID. including their department and name, as well as the logo of the business.
Business Caller ID will only arrive next year, according to the iPhone maker. Customers can identify trustworthy companies by using third-party apps like Truecaller, which also enable businesses to display information about verified businesses.
Additionally, when using the Tap to Pay on iPhone, businesses in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Ukraine, the UK, and the US will be able to display their company logo. According to Apple, the logo will provide customers with information when they make a purchase, taking the place of the generic category icon on the payment screen.
Companies will need to sign in with their Apple ID in order to use these new features on the Business Connect platform. According to Apple, the Cupertino company will not charge for the customisation of brand information, and companies with or without a physical presence will be able to use the features.
