Somy Ali, Straight Up On Her Controversial Statements About Sushant Singh Rajput’s “Murder”, Salman Khan’s Alleged Involvement In Jiah Khan’s Death

Somy Ali, the former actress and Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend, has addressed the controversy surrounding her recent Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session. She explained in a recent Instagram post that she was primarily attending the session to promote her non-profit organisation, No More Tears, which aids victims of human trafficking and domestic abuse. “I would like to address the recent controversy surrounding a Reddit session that has gone viral,” she wrote. My sole goal in attending the session was to raise awareness of No More Tears, my non-profit organisation that supports victims of human trafficking and domestic abuse. Regretfully, a number of misunderstandings and diversions resulted from remarks made in my name by Akshay Sharma, the vice president of No More Tears, regarding Salman Khan and even Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing without my consent or knowledge. I cannot type so quickly during a live session, as everyone knows.”

Somy Ali went on to say that she was disappointed that the attention had shifted from the work of her NGO to irrelevant controversy. “I have dedicated the last 17 years to supporting victims of human trafficking and abuse, so it is really disheartening to see the conversation veering towards irrelevant and divisive subjects. I am not interested in talking about people from my past or anything other than the work that No More Tears does. “I agreed to the session not to stir up controversy, but to increase awareness of the mission of my NGO,” she continued.

She also stated unequivocally that she will no longer participate in media appearances that highlight her previous relationships. “I no longer want to participate in Zoom video interviews where they merely enquire about Salman in an attempt to increase the viewership of their news programmes. In order to keep the attention on No More Tears, I will be minimising my media appearances going forward. I only began talking to the media three years ago to help spread the word about my work after living in silence for fourteen years. Support for the organisation has grown as a result of this publicity, and I am incredibly appreciative of everyone who has joined our cause. I am still focused and determined in spite of the trolling and negativity I encounter.”

Somy Ali concluded her post with a call to action, urging people to join her in combating abuse. “I appeal to everyone to join me in stopping abuse of any kind. We are all humans, deserving of equal rights and a life of dignity. As Rajesh Khanna beautifully said, ‘Zindagi bahut khoobsurat hai, jeene ka salika aana chahiye.’ One must know how to live because life is so beautiful.

During her Reddit AMA, Somy Ali allegedly made several explosive claims that fuelled the controversy. She allegedly stated that Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered rather than committed suicide when asked to divulge some of Bollywood’s most sinister secrets. She also allegedly claimed that actor Suraj Pancholi had sought Salman Khan’s advice regarding Jiah Khan’s tragic death and that Jiah Khan, who was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances, was pregnant at the time of her death.

Somy Ali also allegedly made disparaging remarks about Salman Khan, whom she dated for eight years. She described Salman as “even worse” than gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in an interview with IANS.
