Geekbench Appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S25 With Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy and 12GB RAM

Exynos chipsets were originally reported to be included in Samsung’s Galaxy S25 lineup.

In the first half of next year, Samsung is anticipated to introduce its Galaxy S25 series. According to multiple reports, the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset will be included in every Galaxy S25 model. Some evidence that the leaks might be accurate can be found in a recent Geekbench listing. With a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 12GB of RAM, an alleged Korean version of the standard Galaxy S25 has appeared on the benchmarking website Geekbench. Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series could make use of the Snapdragon 8 Elite with overclocked GPU and CPU cores.

First spotted by Jukanlosreve (@Jukanlosreve), a Samsung handset with model number SM-S931N has showed up on the Geekbench database, which is most likely the Korean model of the standard Galaxy S25. Its Snapdragon chipset, which has a clock speed of 4.47GHz and a base speed of 3.53GHz, suggests that the phone will come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset that has overclocked CPU scores. The OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15 use the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which runs at 4.32GHz.

Potential 12GB RAM Capacity for the Samsung Galaxy S25

As per the listing, the Galaxy S25 scored 2,481 points in single-core testing and 8,658 in multi-core testing. The listing suggests an Android 15 operating system and 10.75GB of RAM. On paper, this could equal 12GB.

At first, it was thought that Samsung would use the Exynos 2500 chipsets in the Galaxy S25 lineup. The Galaxy S25+ with the Exynos SoC was even visible on Geekbench. However, a number of well-known leakers recently asserted that the Snapdragon silicon will be used in all Galaxy S25 models globally. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, the US version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra was first seen on Geekbench.

In certain markets, such as the US, the Galaxy S24 series this year featured a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC processor; in other markets, the Exynos 2400 chip was used. Nevertheless, Snapdragon chipsets were the only source of power for the entire 2023 Galaxy S23 series.
