Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s winery feud will go to trial at this point.

The winery feud trial is set for 2026.

The legal dispute between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie regarding Chateau Miraval, a French winery, is about to go to trial. Both former couples are now facing depositions that could reveal more personal information about their relationship, continuing the long-running rivalry that has been characterised by accusations and denials. According to court documents, a judge in the Los Angeles Superior Court this month rejected Angelina Jolie’s motion to have the case dismissed, allowing it to proceed. The trial is set for 2026, though. “Eventually Angie and Brad will have to sit with depositions; there’s now no way out as they move towards trial,” said a source as per a report by Page Six.

Judge Lia Martin of Los Angeles County Superior Court denied three demurrers submitted by Angelina Jolie’s legal team in connection with Brad Pitt’s claims in court that his ex-wife broke a verbal and written agreement not to sell their shares in Miraval without both parties’ consent, according to court documents filed on Friday (November 8) and obtained by People. A source close to the media outlet asserted, “This is a clear victory for Brad, which demonstrates the legitimacy of his claims and demonstrates yet again that the other side’s talk is not backed up with substance.”

In 2016, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt filed for divorce. Due to the vineyard they bought in 2008, the Hollywood ex-couples have been involved in legal disputes ever since. Brad Pitt initially sued Angelina Jolie in 2022 for selling her Chateau Miraval stake to Tenute del Mondo, the wine division of the Stoli Group.

Angelina Jolie previously stated that she did not sell the vineyard to Brad Pitt because he wanted her to sign an onerous non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that would hide his alleged bad behaviour in the past. He also attempted to have her turn over all of her prior NDAs.

The lawsuit is a “straightforward business dispute, and the other side has consistently introduced personal elements that have exposed the weaknesses in their case and complicated and lengthened the proceedings,” according to Brad Pitt’s lawyers.

In 2014, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tied the knot. Pax, Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, and the twins Knox and Vivienne make up their six children.
